Mosley submitted this bug report:
"When someone initiates the voice part of a group chat, an invite is sent to everyone in the group who's currently online. This is good. What's not so good is that for everyone who subsequently joins the voice call, another invite is sent to everyone in the group, so group members get spammed with invitation dialogs. Each group member should be notified only once when a group voice call has been initiated. "
