Starry Night

I've came across with this beautiful video on Linden Lab's blog. For those who don't follow that blog, here is your chance to see how Second Life can bring paintings alive. Amazing how Van Gogh's paintings look so great in 3D. To bad, as Zam pointed out, that the place is not on anymore - it would be wonderful to walk there with you guys!

*After all it seems that the place is on (thanks Jill) the adress is:
Vincent's, Luctesa (87, 192, 82)

Hi all,
After a lot of researches on Luctesa, the Starry Night Land created by Robbie doesn't exist on Luctesa. You can see a picture of Starry Night but nothing else :'(
I'm very sad because it was a real magic place to visit.

I hope that other places like this will appear on Second Life :)

Yes, bless you Phoebe, this was a good place, but even better was the place I went after, as, out of boredom, I was seeing if there was anything extant at my old LM's. That place was called the masturbation station. Someone whom I don't see anymore took me there a long time ago and it was fun exercising all the poseballs. The MS is now something else along the lines of a BDSM death metal stripper joint but the interesting part was establishing dialog with sex workers. It is challenging because of the fantastic barriers of expectation that accompany stereotypical roles. As in marriage or any archaic institution, roles are expected to be fulfilled and deviance, even in the most positive way imaginable, results in suspicion. But genuine dialog in such circumstances is magical and well worth the effort. In case you are wondering, no precious bodily fluids were lost in the course of research for this comment, past or present.
